I have both AP and GP...
I'm in love with the GP Laureate Skeleton in steel! I wear it daily. The quality is definitely on the same level as AP; the lume is great; the legibility is great; the movement isn't too busy and it's a joy. To be honest, I wouldn't change anything about the watch. They nailed it! I will say though that the finishing is well done but very light, not as deep as AP, still it's made of 904L steel like Rolex. The bezel isn't a scratch magnet and the watch isn't an eye soar, to me, with scratches.
I'd pull the trigger, it's a perfect watch. The only thing I would say is that the brand name isn't as recognizable as Rolex, AP, Patek. If that doesn't matter and you just want something for you, then this is the one!
Laureato finishing quality?

The overall finishing is on par with the Nautilus...
...though the bracelet bevels are not as grandly as the pictures suggest. That obviously doesn’t diminish the quality per se, it makes it cheaper in appearance.
A friend of mine has the laureato skeleton in ceramic and I can tell you it’s amazing and super light
