Girard Perregaux

I´m not sure about the specific caliber, but here´s a list

G'day,

now i´m confused, as i can´t recall a GP3170 to be used in a Vintage45 model. The 3170 is a chrono movement introduced in the first-series Laureato ref. 80170 in 1996, basically GP´s own 3100 caliber with a chrono module on top.

The old Vintage45 ref. 25990 makes use of a GP 3070 caliber, which is GP´s propietory GP3000 caliber as a base and GP´s propietory column-wheel chronograph module on top. The current larger square chronograph ref. 25820 does use basically this movement (in a slightly larger version) as well, now referred to as caliber GP030C0.
The current Kingsize/XXL chronographs with caliber GP033C0 basically make use of the same caliber as f. e. the Laureato models, which is a GP3300 as a base and a DD 2021 chronograph module on top.

There are many many older posts on GP´s base movements and chronographs, both the column-wheel and the cam/lever variants!
So i´m confident doing some search will find you interesting input!

Cheers,
Peter
