So, yesterday I had my discontinued Laureato 38 mm grey dial on. You may remember that it is 10 mm thick.
Today, I have my limited edition blue dial Laureato 41 mm blue dial on. Interesting to note that is is ALSO 10 mm thick. They both house the calibre 3300.
The 225th GP anniversary ref 81000 was created in 2016 to mark the Laureatoβs return to the catalog after a hiatus of a few years. It would also mark the beginning of the 5th generation of the laureato. So this is a rather special one.
Created by the respected industry vetran Stefano Macaluso, 225 pieces were made in the blue dial. Different in many ways from the thicker production Laureato 42 mm that would follow in 2017.
I find the 41 mm more elegant compared to the more bulky 42 mm variant. The 41 mm is also an excellent choice for those that feel the 38 mm is too small and the 42 mm too big. The 41 mm is also much more rare and it is a limited edition.
Enjoy the pics and do leave a comment if you have a question or just want to say hello.
Happy weekend ahead.
