More blue, more love for the Girard-Perregaux Sea Hawk 49920
Friends,
as we seem to have a blue theme in recent posts, why not show two fresh photos of my blue sunburst dial Sea Hawk.
It has recently accompanied myself on a short vacation trip and it passed the swimming pool test (of course) 
Not that I changed my mind, in general, I don't take a watch for a swim and don't need a watch in the pool or Sea, but when you don't have a place to store the watch safely, this is the best option.

This is such a beautiful boue dial!
But we want to see sunshine shots! Natural light really show this dial in the best way! Best Blomman
I have used Sea Hawk several times when diving
and must say that in the maximum depth and dark conditions it's among the most readable diving watches. Best, Kari
Just a fact.
My watchmaker said that the movement is a bit "sophisticated" for a diver and a Rolex can take more punishment. But the dial is unbeatable. Best, Kari

Especially the 2nd shot is a splendid one ! To me, a masculine impression, yet not without charm ! - And with that dial ( little Q: is it partially Pt or WG or just as for all of it ?). - It is a perfect summer watch ! Cheers & HAGWE ! hs.

The Steel version Sea Hawk John Harrison has a white gold bezel insert.
You are right. When there is just no proper place to put your watch,
you can still have peace of mind with this one on the wrist.
