Girard Perregaux

possible sleeper!

The caliber could definitively tell you the manufacture date. Without "hack" feature and in the 8888 case with that dial, you may have a cal 32A, one of the 662 manufactured in 1967. Ive attached a pic of my 8888 with 32A. I also have an 888 with 42.1 (also 36000A/h) but this has a different dial from 1970-74. My watchmaker sets the movement to +2sec/day when he services the movement expecting that it will slow over the next 10 years rather than needing service after 5 years.
