Ref: 4956
Hello PuristS,
I am considering purchasing a used Ref. 4956 Sport 2000 Chrono. I tried searching the forum for information about this reference but that has raised additional questions. Were there two different watches released under this reference ... the Sport 2000 unlimited production and the F1-2000 limited production? Are both watches considered part of the Pour Ferrari collection?
The Sport 2000 watch that I am looking at has no markings other then "Girard Perregaux" on the dial and "Manufacture Girard Perregaux" and AN 1014 and Ref. 4956 on the case back. The watch owner says the watch will ship with a red Ferrari box.
Thanks for any information you can provide,
Dennis

Hello Alex, Thank you very much for the information. I personally buy watches that suit my eye and my small wrist (I cannot wear many of GP's larger watches). I really love the look of this piece and I've never been too concerned with "limited editions". ...
