Girard Perregaux

I have noticed that the SH Pro GGYC seems to come in two dial variations - one has "Golden Gate Yacht Club" on the power reserve sub-dial; the other has "Team Watch". Does anyone know the reason for this variation? Thanks.

G'day, you´re right, there are two variants. Regular pieces are signed "GGYC" both on the dial on the back. A few are signed "Team Watch" and bear a number; numbers lower than 18 are made for the actual team members of BMW ORACLE RACING, while pieces bear... 

Do you know how many of the 1000 made were identified as 'team watch' in the power resreve sub dial? Thanks, Steve
