I’m glad to hear you has two neo vintage GPs. I certainly under the zen sentiments of reducing one’s collection. I’m sure that this is something that I too would do one day.

Some of my GPs were left to me by my father, so they have sentimental value. Having said that, we don’t have kids and our two cats seem to have not acquired any interest in collecting… 😅

If I was new to collecting GP, some of the neo-vintage references would be a priority for me. Current prices are ridiculously low for some pieces and sold for much much more back in the day. I know because I have the old price lists.

Friends, On the wrist today … the 38 mm NEO-vintage cushion case central chronograph. Released in 1999, in a limited production run of about 900 examples in the ivory dial and the same in the black “military dial”. It won watch of the year award in Japan....  

That one gives off a wonderful vintage vibe!

The cushion case is A+. The cream dial is A+. The central chronograph is A+. The strap is A+. Basically it's an A+ watch. M4 p.s. Now feed your cat. It looks "hangry."

38 mm is perfect for this model. I think they held true to the size based on the model it was paying homage to.
