The Kering (PPR) relationship ...
It has been nearly 2 years since Kering obtained majority (51%) ownership of GP and JR. Of course many of us were nervous about a (Macaluso) family owned company under a larger conglomerate of luxury goods. But at every opportunity I have asked employees, at all levels, how it has affected day to day operations and direction and the consistent response I receive is that it is all good: stability, resources and a hands off approach to management.

So it all seems good at the moment, but we will keep watching.

I like the GP Hawk chrono, and it was interesting to learn that Mr. Macaluso mentioned that the Hawk design was partly inspired by the Millenium Falcon. Very cool. Looking forward to seeing what GP offers at Baselworld. Regards, ED-209
