You are 100% right - that is paramount and makes it even more hard but also rewarding to collect super rare pieces like the 1st Gen Deep Diver. I mean I would also love a nice Rolex 5512 or 5513, but to buy one in great original condition you just need money (and knowledge to correctly evaluate the condition) in the first place, they are out there in contrast to GP Deep Divers or other REALLY rare watches.
Thanks for the info about the "Lunar Dial" GP on C24, at the moment it is a bit too steep for me as I want to save some money in my watch fund for other watches but it is a very attractive watch.

That is a very very nice Vintage GP you have there, I would love to have one in my personal Collection as well along with a 1st Gen. Deep Diver with the "Lume Filled Triangle" Dial (Ref. 7254) and/or maybe a Ref.9034 with the "Flag Dial" or "Casino Dial" ...
