To me, that sounds like the best way to get over all top quality and a most cost efficient product made. Today everybody strive for "in-house"... But look at the car industry, look at big champagne manufactures, they buy from the smaller to be able to mak...

Blomman Did you find a new dial? Was it without numerals on purpose or a reconditioned dial that omitted the numerals? Would they have cut out the numerals ala Panerai or used tritium paint? Finally, are those "fingerprints" of oxidation on the back of th...  

NOS, but as I wrote, it is not a completed dial. The luminous (tritium) is missing. My guess is that the dial never got completed and put on a shelf to be forgotten until someone decided to sell it to me! :) Yes, the fingerprint on the back is not mine, i... 

Hey blomman, I came across a watch completed with the unfinished non tritium dial. As well, the hands were the same shape as yours but again unfinished without the tritium application. What do you make of that? Was were these service parts or just incompl... 

Yes, I also saw that one. The dial is the same as the non completed dial I have (but in bad shape). I do not believe these were service parts. Will send you a PM. Best Blomman

It's interesting how the GP has a more "chunky/beefy" look due to the thicker bezel. In that sense the Omega is quite unique! Matt

Like the Omega is very uncommon. I guess it is more common with larger bezels due to the visibility under water. Thank you, my friend - maybe time for you to add a GP diver to your collection...? ;) Best Blomman

Since forgers are getting better, you have to equip yourself with better tools... Na, I got it just to be able to make really big macros. The problem is the light that reflects all over our watches, so the results did become what I wished it to be... But ...
