The love affair continues with GP Neo-vintage. Some pics o

f my Girard-Perregaux Traveler 2 ref 4940 in white/grey gold (which is not seen so often). GP does not rhodium plate its white gold pieces so they take on grey hue which can be quite appealing. Under the direction of legendary Gino Macaluso this is 38 mm with 2nd time zone and mechanical alarm. Date and 2nd time zone are jumping. I find the contrast between the white gold and the black dial to be sublime. Applied breguet styled numerals add to its classy but casual vibe. It's superbly balanced timepiece that was released by GP circa 2001 with the robust and accurate GP calibre 229. I actually have the steel variant as well, but a friend who is also a GP collector asked if he could have it. It's off to its new home in November. Wishing everyone a pleasant Saturday ahead. ❤
