Very nice Vintage 45 Chrono you have picked up, congratulations.
BTW: is this the steel or white gold version?
You said that you have replaced the strap, what strap did it come with? I think this Chrono would look very nice on a light brown croco strap with white stitching.
I think it would be worthwhile to get an original GP strap for the Vintage 45 as they have a metal support and nicely snug into the case.
Can you share a picture of the strap you replaced?

Its the steel version, but is the same dial used in one white gold model. The original strap was the exact one you mentioned.

Ever since I saw it in the metal in Paris :-) Somehow it didnt speak to me before. Yours has a nice sunergy between the hands and big white numerals. An often overlooked watch of high quality inside out IMO. Wear it well Nikolaj
