Girard Perregaux

Vintage GP Trio, my currently “most-worn”

As I’m just back from a break and now online again, before I show you something new in my collection, let’s come back to a current favourite trio of mine.

All 3 now with (for my humble taste) a perfect strap/buckle match.

The Richeville Pie-Pan dial Chronometer (Ref 8445) with silver sunburst dial on a black ostrich with grey stitching strap and a matching 16mm buckle (oh those 16mm are hard to find!)

The Alarm manual wind (Ref 7742) with a light salmon patina dial on a blue/grey ostrich strap and 16mm (!) buckle.

And finally, the Mimo WWII Dienstuhr Heer on a vintage 1930/40ies pig skin grey strap and a matching buckle from that era. The strap is surprisingly soft and comfortable and the buckle looks just awesome.
