What do you think of these compared to original in steel?

These colored ceramic watches (and the blue AP RO too) just look plastic and cheap to me.
I'm sure the wrist-feel is different, but aesthetically they do not look like luxury pieces. More akin to a cheap plastic Moonswatch. John
Same here. Just a "latest flavor" I guess, but I'd be surprised if these stand the test of time. Same with AP's colored ceramic.
I feel a bit differently about black ceramic but still prefer metals.
It may be that they look different in person.
I’m not sure why the black ceramic is acceptable, but for me it’s because I can see the brushed striations that give it character, as opposed to the smooth plastic like appearance of the blue ceramic. But at least all AP ceramic models will always be cons...
Not sure why black works for me either, but I will definitely stick with black and regular colored metals.
Come to think of it, the gray ceramic coaxial Speedmaster is nice too. Maybe I'm just prejudiced against colors!

Thanks Nicholas ☀️ Thought I’m more of a fan of steel. I do like what GP is doing here. A lot of hard work by the design team. No date would be better. No decal on the display caseback would be better. Overall, some excellent pieces at a reasonable price....
