Girard-Perregaux Deep Diver ref 7254 with black dial
You all know I love these early divers... First generation Girard-Perregaux Deep Diver released in 1957, reference 7254 is no exception... Here is one I recently got back from my watchmaker! The love the inscription on the sub-dial: DEEP DIVER, 100 FATHOM...
Very nice, but hard to consider it a diving watch,
with no screw down crown or time lapse bezel at all.
One of the charm of early divers....
And as I am not planning to go diving with this one on my wrist anytime soon... Best Blomman
Yes, I think the silver dial version is more common....
But that one is not an easy find either.... Best Blomman
