Many, many thanks for posting these candid photos and commentary, Magnus. Agreed in full, particularly regarding the desirability of a steel-cased model . . . that would be most welcome.

1. The caseband is brushed. I like it a lot more this way. 2. The strap attachment is more conventional. The older version has the strap fully meet the case. 3. I see the markers at 15 and 30 now pierce the minute track and stick into the dial. Subtle, bu...

Yes, even from the early samples of the white dial to the ones after.
The "Glashutte Original" definitely got thicker 1-2 years into production. A small pity, as I prefer the thinner version.
It would be great to know what drove that decision!

In one shot they do look recessed from the grainy texture.
