Since the watch stopped after only 3 weeks, I declined the offer for
service and (strongly) requested a replacement. Forty-eight hours later
I had my new piece. Certainly it would be interesting to learn just
what happened to the mechanism but first and foremost in my mind was
the desire to have a perfect new watch again.
