Glashütte Original

This is a tough watch to shoot. I'm sure I can do better with a small light tent or the BPP (Borat Patent Pending) but these are completely au naturel. I still think this is one of the best new watches by any brand to come out in the years I have collecte...  

I think you a right. Always tempted. If I remember rightly it has a beautiful display back showing the wonderfully finished movement and ofcourse the hand engraved balance cock. Could I trouble you for pictures !? I need to pull the trigger on my first GO... 

I meant to reply to you earlier! Indeed, the movement few of this watch is quite nice, and the hand engraving is done extremely well. I'll try to catch a nicer photo of the engraving but have these handy. ...

Strangely, I never had the opportunity to take pictures of it! A Watch, as you know, I love a lot. I would also include the Pa,oInverse in your list of cool watches from these last years. Best, Borat.

You were in early on with the Chronometer as well. Did yours just start suddenly gaining time? Mine runs extremely accurate. Sometimes I go a few weeks without wearing it and sometimes I'll wear it a week straight. Given that randomness I am quite pleased...

which by the way complements the older Panodate and Sixties perfectly :-) I have a few that's being considered as additions to the family - your example would be on top of the list, followed by the AP15450. The next few months will decide and I'll be sure... 

Regarding the AP 15450, feel free to head over to our AP forum and poke around. I gotta tell you, I feel the proportions on its 37mm case are nicer than the 41mm 15400. For me, the revised 15202 Jumbo at 39mm is "just right", but I think the 15450 is a su...

Looking at the bigger picture, I feel Glashutte Original has done very well as a company the past few years. They have entrenched themselves as a very relevant watchmaking company. We might like some watches more than others, but we all have to agree this... 

at this one, whether in your pictures or off and on my wrist. The same goes for the PanoInverse XL Both gain 4 to 6 seconds per day - but in any position. Stop to think about that! I am in no great hurry to have them more precisely adjusted, but do wonder... 

I used to wind my SC every day whether I wore it or not. Now I am content to reset it when necessary, and I enjoy the process on that particular watch. I happen to fancy the rapid date corrector and provided tool, as well as the day/night indicator, which...

The resistance feels just right, and it is very smooth. Even when I go through periods of not wearing the watch, I'll still wind it up here and there just because it is so enjoyable.
