. . . and I'm going to make a stand by saying that perhaps the most underestimated watches of recent times are the discontinued G O cal 42 and 49 models. I've seen a few in the metal, and the cal 42's are amongst my favorite designs, especially the earlie... 

I know where there is a brand new one , sitting in the dealer's showcase , the version with the small seconds at 9 at the date hand at 3... Chris .

I searched 3 years for this watch. I was taken about by it from the first moment I saw it - IMHO, one of the most beautiful watches ever produced. I like many of GO's current designs, but for my money, I don't think any compare to the 1845, and the moveme...  

Simple, exquisite watch and highly decorated, striped finish on the three-quarter plate movement. I was fortunate enough to be able to purchase mine new over two years ago. Even then was quite an effort to find one. It should fit just fine as a dress watc...
