Do they employ a watchmaker?
If so it should be no problem. Only two tools were needed (a springbar tool and a push pin tool). As you could see in my photos I was careful with plastic. I used a small piece to cover the outside of the lug so that the pin would not scratch it. The only difficulty was establishing the correct "approach angle" to align the strap structure with the recess, and of course keeping in mind the pin as attaching it. Really makes a great difference; you'll be very happy.
Strap change on Senator Chronometer
It is no secret around here how much I love my Senator Chronometer. There has been nothing about the watch or ownership experience to be disappointed with in the slightest for me. If I were forced to make any criticism, it would be that the "standard" OEM...

Short Strap
Thanks for the post. My new strap is arriving within a few days. I do not have any tools. Do you think if I take my watch to a local AD (who does not carry G O) that they will be able to figure out this strap change without damaging the Chronometer? Marc
I've seen a salesman inflict damage on a watch . . .
. . . so be certain a qualified staffer performs the change. I'd suggest going to a watch repair outfit and paying a nominal fee for expert handling if you don't have the tools and/or experience . . . cordially, Art
