Here are my reasons of love for G.O.

Shockingly, I don't have one yet, but I LOVE GO for a number of reasons:

1. They make complications in steel.

2. They have beautiful dials, that are getting better and better every year (due to the purchase of the Pforzheim dial making factory, if I am not mistaken).

3. Undeniably German aesthetic, which I love. Many people call it a copycat of another famous brand from the area, but when you take into account East German socialist history, regarding the brands, and how they were structured together, it seems impossible that a common aesthetic won't be formed.

4. This next point is very important - they place HUGE emphasis on TIME KEEPING. Seconds hands that reset to zero when the crown is out, time winding that moves from minute to minute so you can set the EXACT time. For me, this shows to me what a real horological brand is. From chronometers, to regulatuers, to simple easy to read perpetual calenders.... IN STEEL!!!

Your posts always bring out the best of the brand, so thanks very much.

Oh, and my final point of love... The cursive font that is used for the word 'Glashutte' is just poetry!

It is definitely so. Also, one of the most legible perpetual calendars on yet market today. Lots of information on the dial but it is not cluttered. HAGWE
