I love this watch!

I absolutely love the GO Navigator and would be wearing one now if I weren't waiting for the GO GMT to come to the United States.  There are only two changes I would like to see:  first, with respect to both versions I would prefer a crystal caseback.  Second, I would prefer the date window of the Panorama Date to appear above the "6" on the dial instead of cutting into the "4."  Overall, these are very, very minor issues and would never keep me from buying one.  In fact, if the GMT hasn't arrived here by Spring I'll probably just toss in the towel and get myself a Navigator since I'm going to eventually buy one someday anyway.

Good luck finding that Limited Edition released recently, the one with the simple dial and clear caseback.  I immediately tried to order one but found out it that GO did not make it available to the United States.

I heard that GO was considering making crystal casebacks available as an optional additional purchase for the Navigator.  As I understood it, the Navigator would still come with the original brushed steel caseback, but the buyer could also purchase a crystal caseback and have it installed by the AD.  I think that's a great idea.  I can understand why GO would prefer to keep the original steel caseback in order to be true to the heritage of the pilot's watch, but given the fantastic Caliber 100 inside these watches GO has to accept that their clients want to see these movements in action.

Watch Time Magazine recently reviewed the Navigator and one of the very few criticisms was that the crown is not centered on the case but instead is much closer to the back.  So the reviewer knocked off a few points for the potential discomfort of the crown digging into the wrist.  I was wondering if any Navigator owners have ever experienced this.  I've tried on a couple of Navigators and it wasn't at all an issue for me, but of course I was wearing the watches for only a few minutes at a time.
