Hello! This watch was brought to USA after war. I have not found any with this mark on face. Can anyone tell me what this means? Thank You!...

Thank You Art. My watch does not actually have the word Chronometer on the face. So it must have been one of the first of these type. Also, the writing on the back is the same but there is no writing along the edge as with Stefan's. I did email Glashutte ...
