I just noticed that when I pull the stem out to the setting position on my new Chrono, the seconds hand does not align exactly to the "60" mark, as I suspect it should. I have included a picture here to show what I am seeing. Is this a problem with my wat...

This confirms my fears that something is wrong with mine. I will call my AD tomorrow and look into getting it fixed as quickly as possible. Thank you for your help. Marc

I happen to grab my camera this morning for a jobsite visit, and of course am wearing my new gem. Mine zeroes perfectly....

Seemingly it should jump to zero every time you pull the crown but maybe fiddle with it a bit. I'll be curious to hear what you find out. I expect Glashutte will pay prompt attention to the issue.

I have tried it many, many times. Even fiddling with the crown...no way to make the seconds hand zero properly. I am hoping that it is an easy fix. I sent the watch to the US repair site in Secaucus, NJ. It will arrive there tomorrow. Hopefully, I will ha... 

One week to the day that I sent my SC to SGUS in New Jersey, it returns, fully functional! How is that for amazing service. I will post pictures later this evening showing the great results. I was so disappointed that such an expensive watch could "break"... 

I hope you will no be able to enjoy this treasure as much as you ever wanted and that that great service will make yo soon forget the issue you had in the beginning. We must not forget the amount of manual work that is involved in creating such a watch an... 

Received it back today! As you can see, with the crown pulled out, the seconds hand now perfectly align with the "60" mark. Unbelievable to me that I could send it in to SGUS (half way across the country), get it serviced, and returned to me in 1 week. I ...

The fix must have been straight forward and easy. Still, I am glad Glashutte, perhaps with the Art's influence, attacked this right away. I felt for you, receiving such a beautiful new watch and immediately having to send it away. That has happened to me ... 

Michael, If you would be so kind...please let me know how the short strap works for you. I made an extra hole in my strap, but it is clearly too long. I would love to hear how the short one fits on your wrist. And thanks again for your kind comments. Marc

Although as I indicated we will both be waiting for a while. The tightest hole fits me fine, but I would entertain a little snugger if it had another hole. Might be too tight but I think it would be OK. I figure the short size will push me back a hole or ... 

Thanks. My strap doews not fit without the addition of another hole. I guess I should just go ahead and order a short version, but if you do not mind, I will wait to hear from you how you like it and how it fits. On the last hole my original strap...way t... 

I don't know who in the world would wear it on the wider holes. I'll admit I have no excuses. The good Dr. No advised me ahead of time the strap was long. Alas, the AD recommended I get it in hand first. Should have ordered it before the watch arrived!

. . . and ended up having to purchase one independently, so I don't have nearly as much influence as you guys might think ;-) . . .
