My first G O perpetual seized up . . .
. . . after three plus years on a winder, which along with ei8htohms's personal admonition prompted my transition from keeping all my perpetuals on winders to none. Considering how rarely I wear my gold perpetuals, the additional wear and tear inflicted just to keep them ready at a moment's notice was completely unjustified, and only slightly less so for their steel counterparts . . . cordially, Art
