My understanding is the Calendar Week . . .
. . . compensates for this mechanically so long as it's properly set on January 1st of the given year. Decksurgeon wrote a brief review of the Calendar Week in 2009.

Please keep us informed as to the outcome, John. This question has come up before in the distant past, and my recollection is that a 53 week result is normal depending on how the watch was initially set.

Thanks for your help. I posted my question on their site and look forward to the response. As far as the Senator Week, I love it. Understated, elegant and it comes with an interesting narrative. It's almost been getting as much wrist time as my Sport Evo....
