No more perpetuals for me, I'm afraid . . .
. . . three Karrees are quite enough! It's the new PanoReserve that has my attention.

I haven't had the pleasure of experiencing this one in the metal yet, but my instincts say this will be the next G O in my collection, barring an 1845 Karree small-seconds. The original version was in contention for my collection when I was accumulating Karrees, but the occlusion of the reserve indicator into the chapter ring was a hindrance - not an overwhelming one, but just enough that I passed over two samples, one of the limited edition platinum models and an equally rare grey dial version on a seven-link bracelet.
When the virtues of a GUB manual winding movement in conjunction with the eminently elegant appearance of the dial are considered, this one comes off as a watch to own for the long run.
Cordially,
Art
