Thinking of those days, I am reminded of the biography of Walter Lange where he talks about the registration of the new A. Lange & Sohnne which was supposed to happen on a specific day to mark an anniversary of the original company. But they didn't realize that it was a half holiday and the offices were closed when they arrived. After some begging they agreed to reopen and register the company! According to him something that never ever happens in Germany!

At the end it‘s also personal taste. For me this blue dial is simply stunning, extraordinary and worlds apart from the usual stuff. The date window in the same tone is a masterpiece in itself!

I know what you mean about the date on the LE. But it does balance out the Glashutte label at 9 o’clock. And the date display by GO is the best imo. Thank you for sharing!

Indeed. My 2nd choice is not pictured...
It is the regular white gold model w/ normal bezel. I have seen the blue dial in person several times and despite wanting to love it, I don't. Not exactly sure if it is the particular shade or not.

First and foremost, the GO Chronometer's hands HAVE to be blue - this rules out blue dial. The Regulator although intriguing just doesn't really work for the Chronometer for three reasons. 1) THE focal point of the Chronometer is in my opinion its lovely ...
