Shouldn’t the Calibre 100 for precious metal cases come with gold chatons? Maybe it just doesn’t come like that anymore. Marcelo

In fact, if I could say that, Platinum is a VERY precious metal. Maybe it was like that some years ago – screwed gold chatons for precious metal cases and ‘standard’ ones for SS cases. Now I’m really curious. Maybe they are not bei...

perpetual calendars in Singapore! Thanks for sharing a rare bird, indeed. Nice roman numerals edition. Before the current economic downturn, the demand for GO perpetual calendars outstripped production such that GO executives tried NOT to wear demonstrato... 

I got her on 30 Apr and witnessed the cross over to 1 May and she completed the crossover of all indicators by midnight starting her transition from around 10.40pm or so.

Very nice catch, indeed. Sober, elegant, legible, in platinum ( lover the feel due to the weight of this metal, its density ). Now, you should better find a watch for your wife... Best, and thaks for sharing your joy, and enthiusiasm for this splendid wat... 

My deep sympathy is with your choice! The G.O. Perpetuals are beautiful examples of watchmaking skill, understatement, usability and taste. The understatement is underlined even more by a platinum housing as in your case and the taste by the roman numeral...

Although she did comment after the Patek 5056P that since I only have 2 sons (to whom these will go to) that there is no need for me to get another men's watch. So much for that excuse I guess. But now that I got the Senator, I guess I need ot even it out...

and I'm afraid I'm much too old to be going through sleepness nights for the first 3 months and then chasing a toddler around for the next 3 years.

One of the best dial designs IMO and so readable. Major congrats!

I enjoyed reading your post. The dial is gorgeous and well laid out. I agree that the Roman Numerals are a perfect fit for the watch. My only question is: Is it easy to read the time? The hands are thin. Enjoy it for many years to come. Dave

...and I bet it feels great on your wrist. The weight of platinum gives you a feeling of solidity that other metals just can't match! I like the use of color in the leap year indicator. It's subtle, but clever. Enjoy your new catch! Cheers, Daos

This is my 3rd PT piece but for the next piece, I'll be looking for a RG case seeing that I don;t have one in that casing yet and I've seen some nice RG pieces.

to find this place. I am a big fan of G.O. perpetual calendar for years and am luckily to get a SS guilloch version this year. Getting this PL LE50 version someday would definitely make me satisfied for the rest of life ... love G.O. Chronometer PL too bu... 

I revisit this post again after the Basel's launch of the new stainless steel PC in black dial since I am seriously interested in the GO PC and have considered the ceramic, navigator, and the senator variants in rg and pt. I wonder what would be the major...
