Your kind words are always appreciated. I am struck by the imbalance of the nice large date window, and I have read multiple pros and cons of this previously. For me, the date makes the watch so much more functional, with just a small "detraction" for making the dial somewhat more "busy". I wish my wrist was not so small...for me, I think 39-40mm would be perfect. There are some advantages of the 42mm size, though...much easier to read the dial!

I do remember getting mine just after yours, and changing out my strap as well. I have never really gotten used to the clasp, although it works well enough. I think in general i would prefer a simple buckle. Your thoughts? Marc
