. . . exceedingly difficult to award because there were so many incredibly compelling photos. I found myself entranced by the five photos that sported a pair of G Os . . .
. . . and especially Ken's submission with two Meißens, which I felt had a subtle synergistic effect.
Who could not be taken by . . .
. . . Nicky's heartwarming scrapbook photo?
Martin's pairing of two marvels of German engineering . . .
. . . was most resonant - of course, I happen to be a fan of Audi, too!
Tony's exquisitely suggestive submission . . .
. . . encouraged me to take a closer look at my own G Os.
The photo that I found the most compelling, though, was Richard's PML shot with Sidney Harbor in the background . . .
. . . which was neither well focused nor especially revealing of the ostensible subject, the PML, but captured the indelible man-made arcs of the Opera House and Bridge in tune with the miniscule arc of the esoteric moon-phase indicator on the dial. Easily one of the most compelling images of any watch that I've had the pleasure of viewing.
Thank you all for participating in the contest . . . most cordially, Art
