I have been lazy about looking into a new strap for this watch. My dream is the Panerai Jules Verne nubuck. I wish I could have that strap made for the dimensions of this watch. The blued hands would be crazy awesome against that strap. ...

If it was me, I’d go for natural Cordovan, similar shade and will age nicely. I think the main this is quality of the leather. If you have beautiful leather and a colour that matches your watch (to your eye) then you can’t go wrong!

Dressing down the Chronometer is something that never came to my mind before. Now if it was in steel I could indeed imagine it as my daily wear like this. But the case material would be holding me back. Not only due to its relative softness me thinks. The...

you mentioned the idea below that dressing the Chromometer down a little might lead to more wrist time. I completely concur with that. This is such a serious and impressive watch (also in an aestheticl sense) that I get it out only for special occasions. ...

I think they offer a grey nubuck type strap for the PanoInverse? Maybe I should check it out.

You know I do. But the nubuck in a color like I am showing dresses it down and I feel I will wear it more in this casual setup.
