There are many opurtunities to meet as I am to travel to talk about these watches, including (humbly) my views of some of the high complications. In fact, I begin this Friday...as we exchange arguments here on thepurists, we are being read by both News...k and For...s magazines right now, both financial magazines of leverage, and exposure...it is my desire to make watches move to art and away from fashion. Very difficult.

I may have had a wrong first impression, but as time permits, all the watch companies have to rush thru whatever little time there is at Basel.

I had 6 or 7 occasions on which I had given negative notes, since 1998, and all three watchmakers, AHCI members are today good friends..maybe it is the language transalations in our minds..I am English speaking and I speak no French or even Chinese.

Most of all..I don't want anyone to get into trouble...and on reading my impressions, and opinions, I must have insulted and hurt your work and design. This is bad, and I don't do things like that. I mean to be sincere in what I like, and don't like..and it must be constructive for ALL...especially for the consumers, and then also for the watchmakers and engineers..it is after all your expertise, and (only) our hobby.

I value friendship more than watches and work.
