. . . that preceded my statement, but you're right, Thomas, in assuming that I'd neglected both Urwerk and G-F in my thoughts when I was composing my reply. Urwerk is certainly a highly original marque at the same level as RM in my humble opinion, and G-F is as well, although not to the same extent, as they share a podium with a few contemporaries [Prescher, Muller] . . . they might enjoy the highest level on that podium (a matter I'm not going to even attempt to assess), but I wouldn't consider them as exclusive progenitors of a genre, as RM certainly qualifies.
