Horological Meandering

Greetings to all! Sorry to be a bit slow on this post, but I did want to share some pleasant memories from last week's great visit by KIH to the San Francisco area. I'll offer the standard apologies/excuses for poor restaurant lighting, lack of photograph...

It was great to meet you. As for the photos, I've finally decided that for restaurant settings my P&S works at least as well as the big Nikon -- unless you crank the ISO through the roof on the Nikon, seems that you have two choices: either the pictur...

Your dinners look fantastic.

The food was quite good, although (and I would say very cautiously), I don't think the food was quite as superb as the watches were. Will probably try a different restaurant in the future.

Not quite superlicious, but it was definitely good. i like that word, superlicious. Dinner was definitely enjoyed by all. Only the watches were unable to enjoy the food, but they enjoyed the conversation and being in the spotlight.

This gathering was nice because the group was extended a bit beyond the usual suspects -- not that I don't love the "usual" gang, but it was also fun to have some new voices in the round-table discussion and ratings of favorite watches of various types. C...
