I got rid of my Santos Galbee after 20 years & regretted it 6 months later. The Santos 100 in the picture I've only just bought. The world feels a better place for me now

Completely agree. The movement towards bigger watches isn't something I'm happy with. That said I now think back to that Galbee & think, jeez that watch was tiny by comparison. The 2 Rolex watches I have I bought without trying them on. Big mistake. I sho... 

I like both Santos 100 and S-D very much, as they both strike me as having a macho aspect that is balanced by elegance. But I never saw both in direct comparison.

I could get my first in my early 30's. And yes, it was a GMT MASTER. I wanted one since I was 14. ...  

Because i am a real Seamaster lover. I see simulatities in how you love the Santos. Both S and both real icons.

I particularly enjoyed the reasons and thoughts behind acquiring each one! In terms which one I would take from the three? I'd rather take all three!

Thank you for your kind words, I'm glad you enjoyed the post. The 3 are now down to 2! I have sold the Datejust just yesterday. I'm very tempted to buy it in a smaller size, that will mean it gets worn on a regular basis

Smaller sizes are definitely making a come back, and I am actually quite partial to the 36-39mm watches. Hopefully I will be able to add at least one in this size sooner rather than later.
