Hi All Recently acquired the new Seiko SDBC53 in blue, which is a great watch. After ten days - running 5 seconds fast, which ain't bad in my books . Though one other thing I've noticed - it is a bit of a brute - just shy of 43mm & probably biggest watch ...

I was surprised by how light the Nomos was
Though the Urushi - well I've been struck with it since day one! Still being worn every day & still enjoying it. A certain winner for me. Cheers JML

Does explain when I move back to Nomos or Oris why I can't tell I'm wearing them some days. I'm sure there are lighter mechanical watches out there. It would be interesting to see weight differential of a set model of watch in steel, gold & platinum. Whil...
