I have to confess that I saw the UJ watch as a prototype in Kari's atelier and fell in love with it -- I have not seen the finished product in the metal -- sorry to hear that it did not live up to your expectations. As for the Aronde, that white metal ver... 

The dial and hands of the UJS are nowhere near as refined as those on the earlier watches. And while technically interesting the calibre looks industrial and modern in terms of design (not finishing which is pretty good), which is at odds with the styling...

in the order of placings but in general, I would agree with your review.....'nuff said. This so-called competition has lost any credibility....if it had any in the first place. What was that line again? If you put 100 judge monkeys in a room with typewrit...

... with most of you comments, Gary, and I would add that Eva Laube's Ari would have been equally at home in the Men's, Women's or Design categories. Eva's watch is one of the more unisex creations on the market. Great post, Gary and much appreciated. And...
