Hi All
Back to the start - wearing my Oris Big Crown again today. Rather tellingly this was the big size at 36mm when I bought it - there was a 34mm, which was still a men's watch.
I keep going back to this, despite the years & all the other watches. More than holds it's own.

It’s a lovely watch and the size is spot on. Over the years the watch sizes were growing cancerously while our wrists remained more or less the same. For a while it kind of worked getting people to buy more watches but I guess this is slowly over. Let’s h...

Does feel like there's a reversion to smaller sizes for the last few years. Plus size watches are great if you've got the wrist of Arnie or Stallone , most of us don't though! I wish the current set of Big Crown would revert to 36. I tried a 40mm red dial...

Not all designs scale linearly. And a watch design that’s great at 36mm might feel drastically too large at 40mm 😊🤷🏻♂️
