Horological Meandering

Someone special to me collects wonderful watches, with an emphasis on Van Cleef & Arpels. We share a love for watch collecting, and I am putting together a list of other impressive watches for her. I am interested in Automata, Metiers d’Art, and other impressive applications of horological and decorative skills. 

I like the whimsical watches that Louis Vuitton releases through its Fabrique du Temps. Just yesterday they released three new watches, though a version of the Automata Tambour is one they do every year. JLC also announced a special Reverso today. I really like Jaquet Droz’s bird watches. There are also beautiful watches from Piaget, Vacheron Constantin, Blancpain, and of course Ulysse Nardin, even Chaumet had some interesting timepieces.

At the bottom end of this universe, I own and quite enjoy a Lucky Harvey 🐍

What am I missing? Any pointers would be greatly appreciated.
