Lovely selection. For me, the functionality of the crown is of the utmost importance; ease of grip, smoothness of winding, smoothness and tightness of screw down (if applicable) is more important than aesthetics
Some modelsโ crown may be too small and makes it difficult to wind, while some is even hard to pull out with finger nails. I feel both are essential in the design of a watch, practicality and aesthetics.

A little small to wind as compared to the watch. I donโt know how it will look if itโs bigger, but like you mentioned, maybe it will disrupt the design. I do think slightly bigger does no harm and make it look more robust.
