Horological Meandering

I thought it might be fun to bring as many of our favourite chronographs into the one thread as possible. Three chronographs: Zenith Prime; Montblanc TimeWalker; Omega Speedmaster Professional....  

And it is maybe my fav watch of the collection: Fx ...

and the Zenith with the snail tachy. I have a weskness for complex dials and the last one is a beautifully balanced watch between the case and dial. Not too much of a surprise I think coming from me :)

Is an edition of 2009 released to celebrate the 40th anniversary of the El Primero (the two are: SS and Black Titanium). We share a deep attraction for complex dials. I'm not a vintage person but I admire the vintage pieces. I only don't have the guts to ...

It seems you like the 5100 Andy :) If you have several chrono's you cant help but duplicate a movement in at least one or two pieces. It seems to me that the valjoux 7750 is possibly the widest used chrono movement of the last 15 years. A reassuringly rel... 

Thanks, I've collected them over a period of years, and there are still a few elusive 5100s yet on the list, a very interesting movement.... ...but I feel I need to stretch out a little now, and embrace some other iconic work chronographs, such as the Zen...

SEIKO Chronograph in 1964 - rumor is that it was sold only at the Tokyo Olympic stadium..... And something I finally located... Longines 30CH. Now in the hospital for full servicing including regulation. And the usual suspects..... This, is not mine... :-...

Hi NIco, these white Tortue Chrono's are pretty rare, especially the one produced for the celebration of the re-opening of the Rue de la Paix Store; White gold case, salmon dial with romain numbers and an Arabic 13 instead of the 12. Just 13 pieces were m...

Thanks! It's indeed a great watch and with dimensions of 34x42mm, ideal to wear. 100 Pieces in white- and 100 pieces in pink gold were made in 2007 / 2008. The Tortue was produced in much larger numbers and in two case dimensions. GEO
