Horological Meandering

I was fortunate to interview Shinji Hattori, the President of Seiko Watch Corp and Seiko Holdings, late last year. Mr Hattori’s great- great grandfather founded Seiko 130 years ago. Mr Hattori is not a colour corporate leader. Beyond the family business, ...

Would love to see GS in our shores. It will be a real challenge to market Seiko as an upmarket brand to the average man. Especially here. I guess depending on the area, going through an AD for representation might be more prudent versus having standalone ...

I like to know that next year they don't plan to throw out the design rule book to follow the latest trend. For me, that is the appeal of Gramd Seiko. Credor, however, is just a bit too classically avant garde for my taste.

I know the Credor skeleton engraved versions are really small at around 34-36mm? But it kinda looks big on Mr Hattori's wrist. Small wrist or big watch (as in this model is bigger)?

The watch looks larger than 36 mm but the perceived size is also a matter of the photo perspective and lens. - SJX
