Doxa sub 300 the 50th anniversary Professional re-edition.
In the series of three re-edition of the Doxa Sub 300(no t) we have here the Professional "Orange" dial wjich originally came out around 1967 - 1968.
Just a quick pictorial review sitting next to the very limited original Black lung (rumored prototypes +/- a dozen known) and the production model for the European market from around 1967/68.
The re-edition remains faithful in every way with two small but noticeable elements when compared to the original. First the orange color of the disl is brighter but it may just be the originals have aged and second the lume applied to the seconds hand with slight variation on the ominute and hour. Again small variations not distractions but overall a great execution by Doxa.

There's another slight variation regarding the lume . . .
. . . nearest the date aperture, with the re-edition having the dot on the dial as opposed to the bevel. Great photos, Bill - thanks! Art
