Horological Meandering

This Hamilton Quartz (60’s -70’s ??) Gem is the one that started my love for watches. I consider this Hamilton my first” good watch” , I found it in a local antique store back in 1989, I believe I paid around $130. Oh man..was I ever smitten by it ! I lov...

Too much of a sentimental (not to mention handsome) watch to give up on. If you can get the back off it, you'll be able to find the movement number (perhaps an ESA 9181...?). Then all you have to do is try to find a donor or a NOS movement. Any decent wat...
