Hi All. I'm a new addition to the site; enjoying everyones passion and opinions. I would like to put out a question regarding the Jaquet Droz Grande Seconde Noir - what is the real retail value and as a limited edition of 88 how much of a collectors piece... 

since it was the first brand that truly linked passion and watches for me. Its all about the design and J*D continues to use the successful Grande Seconde layout in this sportier series. The GS SW Noir was release at BaselWorld 2009 limited to 88 pieces. ...

Actually I think it was a good trade... Five wonderful timepieces down to two new and exclusive timepieces which are dramatically different from one another and from your previous collection. Good job. Best, Mike
