Great reminder Nico, in most (perhaps all!) countries I'd never keep more than a handful of watches at home by rotation -- regardless of whether I own a safe or a beautiful watch case.
Sadly, there's no protection from armed robbers should they manage to get in (and be faster than me to pull out a gun ;-) Glad I've never experienced a robbery yet, but I'm in the camp that it's better to be safe than sorry in these situations -- even if I'd LOVE to have all my watches at home to admire daily! ;-)

The watches are sitting very tight in the case so there is no risk of hitting each other when carrying the watch case. The cushions are in fact very soft and accomodate well different types and sizes of watches.

Most of my watches do sit safely at my bank ....only a very few in a very strong private safe ...in a very well protected environment (mechanical and electronical) With this watch case the nice feature is that you can carry it with the handle to the bank ...

The SMP 300 is probably my favorite Omega.

There is not a big difference in wearing comfort.
In fact, even if the PO is larger, the important lug-to-lug distance is almost identical between these 2 watches (+-50 mm). Nevertheless you should check it out : the weight is more important with the PO but this is mainly due to the steel bracelet. The P...
