Got me a new watch box...or better a watch case.
An accessory that we rarely discuss are the watch boxes that we use to store our beloved time pieces.
I don't know about you but I do not like my watches to sit in one of these cheap and badly made watch boxes from unknown origin.
There are however not that many companies that produce high quality watch boxes.So far I used boxes from Buben&Zörweg and Underwood of London.
Recently I discovered by chance the products of a company called "Bosphorus Leather" located in Turkey.
They produce many types of watch rolls/boxes/cases and offer a wide array of different leather styles and colors,all hand-made!
I decided for a watch case in "saffiano navy blue " leather with 15 slots.
It is used to store some of my "casual" watches.
The inside is equally well made with natural (not synthetic !!) suede.
The size of the cushions is perfect for larger watches and they sit very secure in the tray.
A very good feature is the possibility to remove the entire tray for a better fit with many safes.

These are made to order.
They state about 4 weeks but in my case it was only 2 weeks plus one week of delivery time

I completely agree with your comments regards the lack of real quality market offerings and have often looked at the Bosphorus range. That saiid my collection is no longer large enough to justify the big briefcase, it’s a pity therefore they don’t do smaller attaché type cases that could slot into a safe. One last comment is also the cushions, having like you tried out many cases at varying price levels I admit to preferring the phase de line or Everest rolls due largely to their rolex style (carved out at the back)cushions which ensures they can fit my larger watches and my wife’s smaller sized wrists, I’m not sure how soft the bosphorus range is in that respect but it’s certainly something I’d be keen to know

A question: if you close the case and carry it from the handle with your watches inside, do you feel any risk of the watches hitting each other?
Another question: the cushions look kind of rigid, do you foresee any issues placing your watches depending on wrist size of the owner and length of the bracelet/strap?

The watches are sitting very tight in the case so there is no risk of hitting each other when carrying the watch case.

Gerard, nice watch cases such as yours is something I owned and I would love to own, again, BUT...
The main problem is that you would be very tempted to store your watches inside and keep it and them at home...
Here lies the problem. Burglars... Burglars love to see someone storing a nice watch case with fine watches inside. It is easier for them to bring it...
I experienced that myself... Alas.

Very valid point.
Most of my watches do sit safely at my bank ....only a very few in a very strong private safe ...in a very well protected environment (mechanical and electronical) 
With this watch case the nice feature is that you can carry it with the handle to the bank and deposit the entire tray into the safe.

Great reminder Nico, in most (perhaps all!) countries I'd never keep more than a handful of watches at home by rotation -- regardless of whether I own a safe or a beautiful watch case.
Sadly, there's no protection from armed robbers should they manage to get in (and be faster than me to pull out a gun ;-) Glad I've never experienced a robbery yet, but I'm in the camp that it's better to be safe than sorry in these situations -- even if I'd LOVE to have all my watches at home to admire daily! ;-)

I take a look on your orange PO which strap you have.
An 36” America’s cup have a very attractive rubber strap on it. I like the white/blue/red theme and the tiny details as a mini cup at the end of the second hand.
Only a sail boat with crew is not included.

There is not a big difference in wearing comfort.
In fact, even if the PO is larger, the important lug-to-lug distance is almost identical between these 2 watches (+-50 mm).
Nevertheless you should check it out : the weight is more important with the PO but this is mainly due to the steel bracelet.
