Love Stowas, never met the man. Thanks for the info and report. Good to know that the watches can be purchased in Tokyo other than online. What about after sales support ? Is this available in Japan as well ?

I'v been looking at Stowas for quite some time now, i even often go to that Ebisu store when i used to live there. I'm very intrigued about the Solid Silver dials LE for Japan, and you brought me the very 1st clear live shots! I was wondering if you might...

re Muhle, i do like the GMT and the Teutonia. the case is a classic Ickler design with the vertical brushing on the sides and screws on the lugs. i also like some of the Stowa models which look back on their history, but the 24hr countdown is very nice. i...

.. my German watch fan friend found about the event and took me there. He knew a lot more about the brands than the store staff :-) But, yes, they are sometimes forgotten, but great German brands and they are good - my humble impression. Ken

What a coincidence, i was at my local AD 2 weeks ago and saw the same Muhle Glashutte new in house movement model. Agree on the vertical brush finish on the case, very unusual. However the case design reminds me of Chronoswiss. However i find the crown a ...

They redeveloped the old Yebisu Brewery into shopping and dining malls complete with Beer Garten and the Yebisu Brewery Museum. Very pleasant way to spend a Sunday afternoon/evening as I lived in Higashi-Gotanda on the JR Chuo Line. Regards, MTF

Is a regulator for fine adjustment, making the hair spring longer or shorter. It makes the fine regulation easier but do not improve the overall movement, just make the regulation a little more easier. Cheers, Nilo Note: this answer was made because I dis...

.. he is a "finishing freak" :-) He is a great finisher, I agree. Almost all by hand. Yes, I wanted to see more of his own brand, too. Ken
